I just listened to the most perfect guided meditation for today and couldn’t wait to share it with you….
If you aren’t doing anything right now, I encourage you to get into a comfortable position in a spot where you won’t be interrupted for about an hour, grab your headphones and listen to this meditation.
If you’re like me, you’ll feel energized when you’re finished and you be thinking about things like:
- Committing to staying focused on where you want to be vs. dwelling on where you are at this moment in time.
- Where do you want to be? Start giving it some conscious thought on a regular basis.
- What would you be doing and where if nothing stood in your way from being there?
- Close your eyes right now and picture that.
- How do you feel when this image appears?
- What if you could feel this way all of the time?
- Why can’t you feel this way all of the time?
- Seriously, why can’t you?
Are you one of those people who thinks that great things happen for other people and other people live admirable, inspirational lives? Ok, why stop thinking there? Do you want to live like that? What’s stopping you, or more importantly, what are the things you have to do to get there?
Do you think the happy, inspirational people got there in a day? Do you think they’re never sad or angry or frustrated or disappointed? They’re human; they are. They’re where they are because they dreamed their dream and spend every day of their lives moving in the direction of that dream.
You could start on any day, at any time of day….doesn’t have to be a Monday morning or the first day of a month. But isn’t the first day of a brand new year a really cool place to begin?
