I’m Still Here…Hope You Haven’t Forgotten Me

But you’ll have to bear with me today.  I haven’t written up a new post in ages and today I’m writing because I’m overwhelmed and in order to calm myself and vent a little I decided to write up a list of things that are annoying me at the moment…..Here goes –

  1. My printer won’t print unless I turn it off then back on again between print jobs.
  2. I just found one of my new Merrell’s sandals chewed up by the dog.
  3. The kitchen trashcan is about overflowing and left for me to take out.
  4. I’m dealing with someone who’s being a dick just for the sport of it.
  5. The whole family thinks my room is family HQ and it looks that way right now.
  6. I’ve had stuff for donation in the back of my car for 3 weeks and no time to drop it off.
  7. The weekend is upon us and all I see ahead is shit that I need to get done by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
  8. I still haven’t gotten the kids to the eye doctor for a check up this summer and I have 1 week left to do it before we go on vacation.
  9. If I don’t get school supplies this weekend I miss out on the tax free weekend opportunity.
  10. I don’t feel like thinking about school supplies yet!
  11. I’m sure I’m annoyed about more stuff but now I’m distracted by the stuff already on my list so I think I’ll stop bitching and get back to work on all of  it now 😛

  1. well … sounds like a lot, don’t sweat the small stuff and make ‘EVERYTHING’ small, this I was told by my very smart 35 year old son when he was in his 20’s ….. so every time I start to get a little crazy I think …. make it small …….

        1. That is beautiful – I love the sea,the beach, and any sea beach, etc. quotes and references! I’m much calmer now – trash is out, car is vacuumed and wiped down, reported in with work, kid picked up from camp, master list of school supplies prepared and ready for tomorrow shopping, girl kid’s clothes freshly laundered for camp packing purposes, reservation made in ocean city md so I can be near kid and work while she’s doing fun soccer camp things, breathe, wish I didn’t have to work tonight but flattered that the restaurant refuses to let me quit, lol,
          thank you for your support!!!
