Daily Prompt: A Little Sneaky  : Are writing prompts a useful exercise, or do you find them to be too limiting and/or hokey?

I love the writing prompt option as well.  I view it as a challenge at times and think it’s fun.  I just love to write.  My biggest challenge with this challenge is that I don’t take the time to actually do it daily.

I just really have a ton of things going on.  Even if I managed to get totally organized and stick to a schedule there are just too many things to do in one day so some days I do the things I want to do vs. the things I have scheduled.  I’m a procrastinator – I like the adrenaline rush of racing to deadline.  I’m an ADDiva – if it doesn’t excite me I do anything but the thing that doesn’t excite me – sometimes I do nothing.

It’s a struggle.  But I love the Daily Prompt and find that I get more views and more traffic to my blog when I do participate, even more so when I participate regularly.  (I know it begs the question, “so why don’t you do it every day?”…please revert back to ADDiva comment, LOL.
