Describe your relationship with your phone. Is it your lifeline, a buzzing nuisance, or something in between?

Another easy one – my phone is my lifeline…..all of my contact info, access to 3 of my email accounts, calendar, my GPS, my iTunes, a camera, twitter, facebook, my blog, chat, stuff I haven’t even tried out yet….i.e. just heard about Card Munch!
Short story, I was leaving for a trip to Georgia – planned on renting a car when I got there and driving to my Dad’s and all over the place.  Pulling out of my driveway I leaned over, can’t recall why and my (supposedly) leakproof to-go glass was pouring sweet tea all over my blackberry.  Yeah, that wasn’t so good for the blackberry.  Got to Georgia – phone was fried….I had no email, no phone, no contact phone numbers, no GPS…I think I’ve made my case!

  1. made worse by the fact that I couldn’t just go replace my blackberry because it was a work phone so I had to have my “upgrade/replacement” approved with AT&T before they’d move on it – not a huge amount of time it’s a quick process….but not while I’m out of town so I was stuck without my life-line for the duration of the trip. ….did I mention my CALENDAR IS ON THERE?
