It’s a nice way to kick off the day….a pumpkin spice latte then some restorative yoga poses followed by yoga nidra. This is not the way to kick off a productive day if you’re in the mood to stay really mellow all day and maybe have a nice little afternoon nap though.
The guided meditation in a familiar place with familiar people and a familiar instructor plus four blankets made for a mellowing experience today. I was thinking about coming home to paint and maybe wash the kitchen windows but alas, I had a little bit of lunch, read some of a new novel I started yesterday, and then had that nap. Bingo, it’s time to pick up the kids from school.
