I’m in the home stretch! Last night I got the picture hanger thingies nailed to the backs of each piece. Sketched out my big “Original ARTWORK by the C-Sweet” signage, boxed up what I have done so far – today after meeting up with my little one at lunchtime and taking her to the book fair at school I’ll be experimenting with the mini-wreaths I made out of the morning glory vines (remember the morning glory vines?), making up item tags for each piece, making the welcome sign, ironing my tablecloth, and hopefully getting over to Michael’s or AC Moore for more picture hangers and heavy gel medium…….I feel like Pooh with a honey pot with a jar of that stuff in my hand – soooooo happy!
In addition to the art plaques and paintings I have a basket full of the knitted facecloth/washcloths and three mini photo/scrapbooks – very cute – one in the shape of a rocket, a butterfly and a flower.
My kids’ art teacher is participating in http://shellsfornjshores.weebly.com/ by having the kids create seashell themed ornaments and magnets to sell at the craft fair and I made up a collage to donate – hope it sells!
