I’m in One of Those Moods

We have our up days and our down days  and our everything’s going really well but I’m not especially jazzed up about anything, just thankful that there’s no immediate crisis….but then there are these other moods where things just feel weird.  It’s sort of like a “waiting for the other shoe to drop” mood.  What else would you call it, an “I don’t know what to do with myself” mood?

How about I call this my “I should go inside and unload the dishwasher” mood?  How about   the “sitting outside enjoying the early evening coolness b/c I was locked up in the house all day” mood…

What are your strange moods like?  Do you have a name for them?  Do you ride them out or do you try to get yourself into some more desirable mood?

I found some related articles that popped up and one is about smells associated with moods, how about colors, like a mood ring – I don’t know what color this mood would be, I’ll have to think on that one.

I think for simplicity I’ll call this my Moody Mood……

How about you – what’s your thought on moods? I created a little survey to capture your thoughts on this mood thing.  Take a minute and share please?

  1. I haven’t thought of naming the moods but I like that. Unsettled describes my worst mood perfectly. When that happens I give myself full permission to do whatever makes me happy including eating Tim Tams (chocolate biscuits) for dinner!
